After-Hours Volume 1

The kids were in bed. The parents heaved their heavy sighs. But there was music to be made! This collection of songs emerged as an impromptu jam session and (subsequent jam recording) during a family visit from some of our favorite people, Stuart and Mandy Pierce, well after all of our rambunctious little ones were passed out. We broke out the guitar and the banjo (and a nice bottle of wine), armed three iphones and two internal laptop microphones to capture the moment, and went to town. No nice mics, no production, just friends gathered in the living room.

Volume 1 features mostly Advent and Christmas tunes, two from our previous record Epiphany and two new renditions, as well as a throwback, Pennywoman, from Stuart's record Too Far to Fly. You can listen to the whole album and purchase it at Bandcamp.
